Well this was by far the most unique AirBNB we have ever stayed in! It is exactly as described. Not for little kids but such a cool spot. We LOVED the quirky nature of the home. I will say we were told it would be cold in the house and honestly it was totally fine. At one point it was under 10 degrees outside and we were warm and toasty. Dont let this detail scare you away. Amazing spot but be ready for something way outside the box. If you are into that idea this is the place for you! Only a 3 min ride to the mountain. Highly recommend.

The Archie Bunker House is amazing. If you need a space to feel like a child and dive into the world of imagination again, this is what you need. Hosts are very kind and responsive. This is a hidden gem and I don’t want anyone else to find it! Thanks for the great stay!

This is as unique as advertised! The property is quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes from Sugarbush. Parker was very helpful from the reservation through the trip. Check in and out was as simple as can be.

This place was gorgeous. It was an artsy designed house, by the owners father. I love the story behind it. He even helped build some museums close to where I live. Their other home, on the same property, is beautiful, too.
If you’re looking for an affordable stay in a woodsy area, minutes from Sugarbush Mountain, this is perfect. They have a gorgeous underground pool, 4 floors, 4 balconies, 2 bedrooms, 3 beds (1 of them in the living/dining room (very unique, the bed is kind of hidden), 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, den/lounge area, games. It’s so cozy, yet at the same time, so modern. The architecture from every angle is very different.
If you need to stay in/near Warren, this is your place…or their other one, that you’ll def want to check out. If we come back up during the summer, we def would love to come back, and hang on their side deck and take a swim in that pool. I love how the floors were heated, especially in the kitchen. It was so for us.

This was our second year at the bunker and we’ll definitely be coming back again. The location is awesome. So close to the mountain making for easy morning commutes for skiing.
The house is always clean and has plenty of books and games to play for entertainment if you can break yourself away from the view out the huge windows in the family room.
The radiant heat keeps you toasty warm even when the temps dip into the low teens.

A truly unique stay, even more impressive in person than in the pictures. We were there to hit the slopes at Sugarbush(just a few minutes away) but couldn’t wait to return to the house every day and take in all the intricacies of the architecture! The amount of natural light in the house was spectacular. Don’t miss the chance to stay in this concrete masterpiece. Would love to come back and see what it looks like in the summer.

We absolutely Loved the Archie Bunker House. It was fascinating reading about the house before coming and then actually exploring it in person. Definitely pay heed to the fact that this is not your traditional Airbnb—there are nooks and crannies where you’ll find some dust and an occasional bug, but if you know that going in and keep an open mind, you’ll be so well rewarded. The listing made this clear as did the hosts so this wasn’t a surprise. What we couldn’t have expected was how connected we’d find ourselves to the house. The concrete initially feels austere in that it’s everywhere, but the longer you sit with it the softer and more alive it feels. We loved the pool surrounded by the trees, sitting downstairs with the doors open and the breeze coming through, the leaves outside always rustling, and all the wild little details everywhere. We lost power one night for an hour and even that was magical watching the storm by candlelight. Stay here. You won’t regret it.

I didn’t want to leave the Bunker! What a magical place. My favorite part is how full of light the whole house is and how every window provides a unique vista. It was like staying inside a piece of art. Very memorable experience and I would definitely stay again!

Such a unique space! I was noticing new details of the architecture and house construction right up until we checked out. I would definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates unique and innovative architecture and design. I would love to come back in the summer to take full advantage of the many balconies and pool!

The 'Archie Bunker" house is truly unique, and we loved it! Due to its uniqueness, it may not be for everyone, but Parker's descriptions are clear and accurate, and he and Sabra could not have been more responsive and helpful. We really loved the feel of the house the architectural interest, and would absolutely stay again. Also, the Warren and the Mad River area of Vermont are friendly and full of beauty and interest.

This place was VERY cool. It was super unique and made for a great stay. Surprisingly cool inside despite how hot the day was. We loved the pool. Overall this was one of my favorite airbnb stays of all time.

We had an amazing stay at this unique home. It was the perfect escape for my wife, our dog Archie, and me. The house is beautifully designed, modern, peaceful, and full of character. It felt like a hidden gem tucked into nature. Everything was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We loved relaxing here after exploring the area. The pool is great after a long hike. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something special and serene

This place was amazing to stay at. It is what you expect from a rural house, with beautiful views and peace and quiet. Mudroom, useful and where we put all our ski stuff that we used. Kitchen, missing pots and bowls, but standard Airbnb fare. Otherwise was very nice to cook in, good stove and oven, and large fridge and standard freezer. Beds were comfortable and not as private (as the host mentioned and as we expected.) Showers and bathtub were very nice to use, and enough hot water to shower for about 20 minutes straight before it started running cold. There was 3-in-1 in all the bathrooms and supplied towels. Plenty of places to sit and relax and places to work as well. Low lighting might be an issue for some, but it was okay for us. Hosts were quick to respond and helped us with any issues we might have. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a great stay at Parker's home. The house and property are special. Every bit as unique and interesting as the photos suggest. Warren was a super cute town and you had access to any essentials you needed within a 20 minute drive.
We were there during mid-October with temps between the low 40s and highs in the 50s, but the house was perfectly comfortable. The radiant heat was totally adequate, the fireplace was especially cozy, and they had a number of electric heaters throughout in case its needed. There's something very satisfying knowing that the energy you're using to be comfortable is coming from solar power.
Highly recommended. We plan to return next summer.

So glad my first choice fell through, because it allowed me to find this home. This beautiful property is like nothing else out there. Peaceful, private, and amazing/interesting design. If you want a unique experience, book this property while you can!

If you are looking for a unique experience this is it! It's a spectacular home with so many interesting design elements. The architectural details were amazing. Its surroundings are peaceful and private with beautiful views. Definitely would recommend for couples versus groups of friends because of the lack of privacy within the house itself. Regardless, it was an incredible stay! Parker and Sabra were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions that I had. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful oasis.

The hosts are very nice and responsive. We looked forward (for the cool architecture) to the stay but was kinda disappointed upon arrival. The basement was not clean and had bad smell. The bed on the first floor was not read to use and also had the bad smell (as it’s connected to the basement). There were spider nets inside. So we’re told by the host about the place not have much privacy before hand, but we’re totally not expecting the privacy issue extends to the bathrooms. Overall I think the place is really cool and peaceful but better maintenance would be required.

We stayed at Patrick’s place for part of my birthday trip, and it was incredible. The space was massive. It was just me and my boyfriend, so it felt huge, but it was still cozy at the same time. Every detail was amazing. Definitely recommend bringing warm sleeping attire if you are staying in the fall/winter like we did. They provided us with multiple blankets and space heaters, which definitely helped a ton. Thank you Patrick for an amazing start to my birthday trip. We hope to stay with you again soon!

Obsessed! As Architects, we felt that this contemporary house is the best place for any folks who are interested in design and want to live at a place beyond the ordinary. It’s quirky and out-of-the-box, with eclectic and interesting spaces. We would discover new things constantly throughout the weekend that we spent here.
Very responsive and communicative host. Spotlessly clean spaces that were comfortably warm in the freezing, snowy landscape around us. I highly recommend trying this place at least once. A memorable stay indeed and I am left with a hangover for the future.

Very unique architecture, reasonably comfortable, host is very responsive. The house do have a very typical DSL Internet connection (~5Mbps down, 1Mbps up), but do have very good cellular reception facing north from all 3 major carriers next to windows (I tested about ~150Mbps down on Verizon, 250Mbps down on AT&T and 600Mbps down on T-Mobile while there is no leaf on the trees) if you are planning to work remotely and requires high Internet bandwidth for video streaming, it's a good idea to bring your own mobile hotspot or Starlink. Overall an excellent experience for us.

We had a great stay at Parker's place - the space is so beautiful and unique. Convenient for skiing (a quick drive to Sugarbush) and a cozy place to build a fire and cook a big meal after a day on the mountain. The hosts were communicative and provided plenty of towels, toiletries, blankets, etc. We were a bit nervous about some aspects of the description/reviews (privacy issues, geothermal heating) did not find them to be an issue at all - as long as you've read the full house description there should be no surprises. We were perfectly comfortable and would love to be back in the future!

What an opportunity to enjoy such incredible architecture inside and out! Amazing natural light pours in, plants cascading out of cool built ins, spacious and fun to check out every corner, great kitchen to cook and relax - and only minutes to Sugarbush! Loved it
